The new Daiwa 23 Airity ST-SF is a special version of the Airity, redesigned in an ultra-specialist way for SuperFinesse techniques, such as area trout and aging game. A reel that makes absolute lightness, extreme sensitivity and smoothness its workhorses. The magnesium body is super compact, giving this reel record-breaking lightness: the scales stop at just 130 grams. To make the reel even more fluid and sensitive than the standard Airity, the bearing responsible for rotating the handle has been replaced with an oil one. To have an even smoother and "free" rotation, the magnetized oil protecting the pinion has been eliminated. The clutch is a very sensitive ATD-L Super Finesse with 3kg of max drag, calibrated to offer progressiveness and millimetric precision.
