FISHUS DON BELONE 23 W Color: W Length (mm): 230 Weight (g): 25 Depth (m): Sinking |
This pencil-shaped lure mimics a small needlefish, a basic food for every big predator (bluefish, leerfish, seabass, many tuna species, dolphinfish, barracuda…). The standard 25g. version is sinking and helps the angler chase predators on different stages across the water column while working the sample with several actions and paces. Don't get wrong! It's not a sinking stickbait, nor a jig minnow!
Don Belone's characteristics don't look like any other lure specification, so there lies its originality. After using it, the angler's first impression is that Don Belone is a 'surface pencil', the typical lure with which anyone just 'combs' the surface by making it run across, splashing water with its mouth and twitching the rod tip to make it look like a troubled fish that catches predators' attention with its erratic action. That's very easy with Don Belone and will undoubtedly help you make a difference, but… it goes beyond the usual pencil attributes, because fish don't always attack under those conditions. If you restrict yourself to that simple action, you are getting less than 50% from Don Belone's outstanding potential. Let's speak seriously: if you really want to see how far it goes, don't compare Don Belone with other lures – Don Belone is Don Belone. Full stop.
Supplied without treble hooks.
