The new Shimano Sedona AS trout area rod series has been designed for the increasingly popular "Trout Area" technique and offers an excellent combination of specialist design and affordability. The ultra thin, lightweight blanks have a semi-parabolic action to maximize the performance of light, hard baits. If you are among the increasingly numerous fishermen who dedicate themselves to Trout Area fishing, you will certainly want to be armed with the right rods for this highly technical and ultra light style of fishing. While you can use any "finesse" fishing rod, to get maximum performance from light, hard baits it is best to use a specially designed rod and the Sedona AS is an excellent option. Ultra light in the hand, you'll appreciate the accurate casting performance of the Sedona AS, as well as the semi-parabolic action that brings spoons and smaller lures to life. And when you hook an aggressive trout, the perfect action absorbs the fish's headbutts with ease. The advantages of a Full Carbon blank are clearly perceptible in the Sedona AS range. Ultra thin and light, these rods are a pleasure to use and have just the right amount of flex to maximize distance and casting accuracy, even with the smallest lures weighing just 0.5g. But they also offer the right amount of strength to make your baits go into action and complete fish recoveries with extreme safety. Featuring lightweight, tangle-free Seaguide.
