Combining the convenience of a telescopic construction, with powerful throwing action, the Speedmaster EX Surf Telescopic sits in the middle of the Shimano Tele surf range and offers a fantastic combination of performance and value for money. Designed with tip action, this great looking rod range allows you to push the cast when you need it, but still maintain sensitivity to show smaller fish bites when using lighter approaches. The casting power of the Speedmaster EX TE is generated by the use of High Modulus Full Carbon, combined with the Diaflash construction at the bottom of the blank. This combination generates considerable power, which will be appreciated when using weights close to the ceiling or in headwind situations. The beautiful blue blank features Fuji Fazlite K-type stainless steel guides that are corrosion resistant, lightweight and reduce friction, can be used safely even with braided lines. To accommodate large surfcasting reels, a Fuji DPS reel seat fits snugly in the blank and has been positioned to allow you to create maximum leverage with your lower hand when casting.
