The Trabucco Athena EVO Beach surfcasting rod is built with high quality materials, with blanks made of CX 1 Carbon Micro Pitch characterized by a low LRC resin content. The Twist Free technology has been improved with a tighter winding structure (finer pitch), allowing to counteract the twist and guaranteeing greater precision and distance in casts. The joints are reinforced with 45° carbon bands to obtain a perfect curve (X-Joint), eliminating oscillations of the blank. The Slick Surface external finish repels water droplets, preventing the line from sticking to the barrel. The rod is equipped with 2 solid carbon tips, with Light and Heavy action, painted for high visibility. The cars are wrapped in reflective tape to facilitate locating the barrel at night. The Sea Guide guides with SiC stone and K profile frame prevent the formation of tangles during casts. They are fixed by double binding which seals the feet against the entry of salt water, with inserts between the bindings made with reflective thread for better night visibility. The rod is equipped with a Fuji LS7 reel seat with removable central support, designed to accommodate large reels. The final grip is shaped and ergonomic to guarantee total control during use.
